Welcome to the B.D.S.A.A. web site.

TheBournemouth&DistrictSeaAnglers'Association is a friendly sea fishing club that fishes mainly in the Dorset & Hampshire areas. The club was started in 1908 and succesfully hosts on average 25 to 30 shore competitions a year.

There are 41 Trophies to try for, including some especially for lady and junior members. Whilst competition is pretty healthy between members, the mood is always light hearted during matches and at the scales afterwards :) The club is affiliated with the Angling Trust which means among other benefits, members can be entered for awards that are not on offer to the general public.

Matches are run with the conservation of fish stocks very much in mind, and whilst members are obviously allowed to keep their catch if they wish, our competitions are run on a catch and release basis.

This site has been put together with two aims, firstly to give non members access to the club, and secondly to give members up to date news of what's happening.

If you are considering giving the club a try, and want more information on how to join then, why not email me for more details, or try the Contacts on the Contacts link above. You could of course simply turn up at the beach and join in.

Best Wishes Jeff
